Your filters are used to find people whose filters match yours, and to show you to them. That's the only purpose. We don't build advertising profiles, and we don't sell or share your data with third parties.
To suggest your general area, we may check your IP address against third-party location services. We don't store your IP address for this.
Only people you have been matched with. Your match list is private to you, there is no public directory, no leaderboard, and no way for someone to browse users who haven't matched their filters.
We use Google or Microsoft sign-in only to verify you're a real person, and we never request your email or name - only a one-way identifier to confirm you're a real, unique person. Your sign-in is handled by Google or Microsoft under their own privacy policies, which we don't control. You provide your public LinkedIn profile link separately. We never post, message, or send connection requests on your behalf. Every request is sent by you, from LinkedIn, by hand.
You can delete your account at any time from your settings, or by requesting it through the contact form. When you do, we remove your profile information. We may keep a limited anonymized record that does not identify you, where the law permits, to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time through the contact form.
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in during your session, and one to keep you signed in on this device until it expires or you sign out. They also help protect the sign-in flow. Old sign-in cookies may be cleared when you sign in again. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you clear your cookies, you may need to sign in again.
ConnectMatcher is for adults and is not intended for children.
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and note the date at the top. Material changes will be announced before they take effect.
